Notifications
Parachute keeps you informed about activity across your firm through in-app notifications and email alerts.
All your notifications appear in your Inbox, accessible from the sidebar. The inbox gives you a single view of everything that needs your attention - new messages, completed verifications, and team activity.
You’ll receive in-app notifications for:
- New thread messages - when someone replies to a thread you’re involved in
- Verification completed - when an expert finishes reviewing your document
- Document processing done - when a document has finished processing
In-app notifications appear in real time, so you’ll see them without refreshing the page.
Parachute also sends email notifications for:
- Team invitations - when you’re invited to join a firm
- New messages - when there’s a new message in one of your threads and you’re not currently active in the app
- Verification completion - when an expert has finished reviewing your document
Law firm team members receive additional email notifications when:
- A new verification request is available to claim
- A client sends a new message on a verification they’re reviewing
Business users receive notifications when:
- An expert completes a verification on their document
- A team member comments on or @mentions them in a document
You can opt out of specific notification types from Account > Notifications. Toggle individual notification categories on or off depending on what’s relevant to your role.
Parachute automatically determines the best way to reach you:
- If you’re active in the app, you’ll see in-app notifications in real time
- If you’re not active, you’ll receive an email notification
- Invitation notifications are always sent via email
Duplicate notifications are automatically prevented - you won’t receive both an in-app and email notification for the same event.
