FAQ

How do I set up my firm on Parachute?

Sign up at app.goparachute.ai and complete the onboarding flow. You’ll enter your firm’s details, practice areas, and jurisdictions. See the quick start guide for a full walkthrough.

Does the information I enter during onboarding affect AI responses?

Yes. Your firm’s practice areas, location, client types, and other onboarding details are used as context when generating AI responses. This information appears on your knowledge base page and can be edited at any time under company information.

Can I belong to multiple organisations?

Yes. You can be a member of multiple organisations and switch between them seamlessly from the sidebar. Each organisation has its own knowledge base, documents, and team.

What happens when I run out of credits?

You won’t be able to use AI features until your credits reset at the start of your next billing period. You can upgrade your plan at any time for a higher monthly allowance. See credits for details.

Do unused credits roll over?

No. Your credit allowance resets at the start of each billing period. Unused credits do not carry over.

How many credits does each AI mode cost?

Paralegal costs 1 credit, Lawyer costs 3 credits, and Senior Associate costs 15 credits per interaction. See AI modes for guidance on when to use each mode.

Can multiple team members work on the same document?

Yes. Documents support real-time collaboration - multiple team members can edit simultaneously, leave comments, and @mention each other. See the document editor for details.

Can I export documents?

Yes. Documents can be exported to Microsoft Word (.docx) and PDF formats from the editor.

What file formats can I upload to the knowledge base?

PDF, DOCX, and TXT files are supported. You can also add URLs and company information. See knowledge base.

Is there a limit to how many documents I can store?

Document storage limits depend on your plan. Check your current plan details under Account > Billing.

How much does expert verification cost?

Expert verification is pay-per-use. Pricing depends on the complexity and type of document. You can see current pricing in your dashboard under Account > Billing.

How long does a verification take?

Turnaround depends on the complexity of the document and the availability of experts. If your business has a connected law firm, verifications are typically completed faster since requests route directly to your firm’s team.

Can I choose which expert reviews my document?

If your business has a connected law firm, all verification requests route directly to that firm. Otherwise, requests go to the general expert pool where qualified professionals can claim them.

How does the revenue share work?

When your engaged clients request expert verification, your firm receives 80% of the verification fee. Parachute retains 20% as a platform fee. Revenue is tracked in your firm dashboard.

Can a client be connected to multiple law firms?

No. Each client organisation can only have one active firm engagement at a time.

What happens if I end a client engagement?

The client retains their Parachute account and all their data. Their subscription reverts to standard pricing, and future verification requests go to the general expert pool. See inviting clients.

How do I upgrade my plan?

Navigate to Account > Billing, review the available plans, and select the one that fits your needs. Upgrades take effect immediately. See billing and plans.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Contact us at support@goparachute.ai. Your access continues until the end of your current billing period. See billing and plans.

Where can I find my invoices?

Invoices are available under Account > Billing. They’re generated automatically at the start of each billing period and after any plan changes.

Is my data shared with other users or organisations?

No. Your organisation’s data - documents, knowledge base, and threads - is private to your organisation. Other organisations on Parachute cannot see your content.

Is my data used to train AI models?

No. Your data is not used to train or improve AI models. See security for more details.
