Inviting Clients to Parachute
One of the core benefits of Parachute for law firms is bringing your clients onto the platform. When you invite a client, they get access to Parachute’s full suite of AI legal tools at a discounted rate, and all their expert verification requests route directly to your firm.
A firm-client engagement is the connection between your law firm and a client organisation on Parachute. Once established:
- Your client gets Scale tier access at a firm-sponsored discount - they get enterprise-grade legal tools at a lower price
- All verification requests route to your firm - when your client needs expert review, it comes straight to your team. No bidding, no marketplace competition.
- You earn 80% of verification fees - every time your client requests a verification, your firm earns 80% of the fee
Each client organisation can only have one active firm engagement at a time, so once they’re connected to your firm, you’re their sole verification provider on the platform.
If your client doesn’t have a Parachute account yet
Section titled “If your client doesn’t have a Parachute account yet”- Navigate to Clients in your law firm sidebar
- Click Invite Client
- Enter your client’s details:
- Organisation name
- Contact email (for the primary account holder)
- Industry and jurisdiction information
- Send the invitation
Your client receives an email invitation to join Parachute. When they sign up, they’re automatically:
- Placed on the Scale tier with firm-sponsored pricing
- Connected to your firm via an active engagement
- Configured to route all verification requests to your firm
If your client already has a Parachute account
Section titled “If your client already has a Parachute account”If your client is already using Parachute independently (on Free, Starter, or Scale tier):
- Navigate to Clients in your law firm sidebar
- Click Engage Existing Client
- Search for the organisation by name or email
- Send an engagement request
The client’s organisation admin receives a notification to accept the firm engagement. Once accepted:
- Their subscription upgrades to firm-sponsored Scale tier pricing
- Future verification requests route to your firm
- Their existing documents and knowledge base remain untouched
From your client’s perspective, the experience is seamless:
- They use Parachute normally - drafting documents, managing their knowledge base, running reviews
- When they request expert verification, it automatically goes to your firm instead of the general expert pool
- They see your firm’s name as their connected legal partner in their account settings
- They benefit from discounted Scale tier pricing
Your Clients dashboard shows:
- All engaged client organisations
- Recent activity (documents created, verifications requested)
- Engagement status (active, pending invitation)
- Revenue generated per client
If a client relationship ends:
- Navigate to the client’s profile in your dashboard
- Click End Engagement
- Confirm the action
The client retains their Parachute account and all their data. Their subscription reverts to standard pricing, and future verification requests go to the general expert pool.
- Onboard clients early - the sooner clients start using the platform, the sooner they generate verification requests and revenue for your firm
- Help clients build their knowledge base - a well-populated knowledge base means better AI output, which means clients use the platform more and request more verifications
- Share useful templates - if your firm has document templates that work well, share them with clients to accelerate adoption
- Be responsive on verifications - quick turnaround on verification requests builds trust and encourages clients to use the feature more often
- Verification Workflow - how to handle incoming verification requests
