Email to thread

Parachute gives each user a unique inbox address. Forward any email to it, and Parachute automatically creates a new thread with the email content - ready for AI-assisted analysis.

  1. Get your inbox address - each user gets a unique address in the format firstname-orgname-abc123@inbox.goparachute.ai
  2. Forward an email - send or forward any email to your inbox address
  3. Thread is created - Parachute creates a new thread containing the email subject, sender, and body

The thread is created instantly and you can start working with it straight away - ask Parachute to summarise the email, draft a response, review any attached legal questions, or analyse the content.

Navigate to your account settings to find or create your inbox address. Each user gets one address per organisation, and it stays the same once created.

Your inbox address is unique to you - emails forwarded to your address create threads in your account.

  • Sender validation - the email must come from an address associated with a member of your organisation. Emails from unrecognised addresses are rejected for security
  • Organisation membership - you need to be an active member of the organisation to use the inbox feature

Forward client emails asking legal questions directly to Parachute. The AI can immediately analyse the question and draft a response for you to review.

When someone emails you a contract or policy to review, forward it to create a thread. Then ask Parachute to review the content and flag any issues.

Use your inbox address as a quick way to get information into Parachute without switching between apps. Forward anything relevant and come back to it later.

  • One email per thread - each forwarded email creates a separate thread, which keeps context focused. See tips and tricks for why this matters.
  • Include context in your forward - add a note above the forwarded content explaining what you need (e.g. “Please review this contract for data protection risks”)
