Credits
Parachute uses a credit system to manage AI usage. Each AI interaction costs a certain number of credits depending on the AI mode you choose.
- Your organisation receives a monthly credit allowance based on your plan
- Credits reset at the start of each billing period
- Each AI interaction (chat message, document draft, review) deducts credits from your allowance
- When credits run out, you’ll need to wait for the next billing period or upgrade your plan

Choosing the right mode for the task helps you get the most from your monthly allowance. See AI modes for guidance on when to use each mode, and tips and tricks for best practices.
Navigate to Account > Usage to see:
- How many credits you have remaining this billing period
- How many credits you’ve used
- A breakdown of usage by AI mode
Higher-tier plans include unlimited credits, so you can use any AI mode without worrying about running out. Contact us or visit the billing page to upgrade.
